Real growth comes from learning through experience, not just theory. With multiple certifications - including CA, CS, CFA, FRM, CAIA, CCRA, CIRA, CIPM, CFP, RV, CIIB, and AIM: your mentor, Aswini Bajaj, has navigated a wide variety of paths and industries, gaining deep insights that now shape his mentorship approach.
Today, he stands as a mentor to thousands of students, training over 30k+ students on similar journeys. Through his work across ventures, collaborations with professionals from diverse sectors, and training of individuals at all career stages, his approach remains grounded in real-world understanding and practical advice - helping students avoid mistakes, focus on what truly matters, and make the right decisions to build a successful career.
As exams conclude for many students, what follows are often endless doubts — “What next?” “Did I choose the right course?” “How do I recover from failure?”
A few days ago, we posted an open story inviting students to share their questions on our instagram @aswinibajajclasses. The response was overwhelming - hundreds of messages came in, filled with dilemmas around careers, exams, certifications, and course choices. That’s when your mentor decided to keep May as a career month, for students to solve their doubts and provide clear direction. We have been posting career related reels on issues ranging from exam strategy to long-term career clarity.
Among all the questions received, one has kept surfacing repeatedly: “Should I go for a 3-year or a 4-year degree under the new education system?”.
Aswini mentioned “We have to keep our options open. Academic Bank of Credits has gained importance and there will be many new changes which will be incorporated in NEP as well”. With the introduction of the New Education Policy (NEP), students now face new options and pressures around 4-year programs vs. traditional 3-year degrees.
He believes NEP is a step forward, but not to follow others blindly. He believes in Choosing based on who you want to become. Another recurring concern from students has been around stress, anxiety, and emotional burnout - especially post-COVID. Many have reached out struggling with performance pressure and mental fatigue.
That’s why he’s spoken in depth about Emotional Quotient (EQ) vs. Intelligence Quotient (IQ) - a topic too often overlooked. Whether you're pursuing CA, CFA, MBA, or entering a corporate career, technical knowledge may get you in, but EQ decides how far you go.
Over the years, he has guided thousands of students and professionals through certification choices - and one thing stands out: the right certification can be a powerful career accelerator.
During Career Month, he has also discussed the value of globally recognized qualifications like CFA, CA, and FRM - how they align with your long-term goals, and how to complement them with skills, internships, and emotional resilience.
His advice doesn’t come from textbooks. It comes from a journey filled with its own struggles, rejections, certifications, and breakthroughs. He’s walked this path and now, he wants you to learn from that journey so you can move forward with learn from that journey clarity and confidence.
This Career Month is your chance to reset. Whether you’re retaking an exam, deciding on a course, or planning a career pivot - know that his guidance is rooted in reality and tailored to your growth.

Keep learning. Keep investing in yourself!
It is very natural for students to think that they have prepared enough. While recognizing that sufficient preparation has been accomplished, you may want to take a few mock tests.
